I signed up for the beta and have been using Desktoptwo for a few hours.

It is a fantastic idea and the way I believe things are inevitably heading, with apps running on big servers and accessed from dumb terminals, PDAs, smartphones and so on.

Desktoptwo is slick but still quite basic. Not quite ready to be used seriously yet but heading in the right direction.

Goowy is my favorite. But if you do a search in Google, you will see many more choices. Web desktop is nothing new, and I bet that Google, Yahoo!, and MSN can easily change their portals into one.

Goowy and Desktop are superb. I love them. Odeskop looks like a copycat and underdeveloped.
