WidSets: Widgets for your mobile phone
You’ve widgets on your desktop and you have widgets in your web browser, so how about widgets for your mobile phone? That’s what WidSets does. It’s a free program for your cell phone that lets you download widgets that interact with various web services. There’s quite a lot of widgets to choose from - e.g. Newsvine, Technorati, and Flickr - and you can create your own widgets, though for now that functionality is limited to customizing the look and plugging in an RSS feed. WidSets works with most phones that are Java-enabled and have internet access, though it currently doesn’t work with some carriers.
